QuestTel's Q-2A-XLR-TX-RX is a 2 channel bidirection audio over fiber optic converter. It is built explicitly for broadcast-grade audio transport over fiber. It carries two different channels of balanced audio in both or either direction on a single fiber, using FPGA-based digital coding/decoding technology. With a 100dB dynamic range, an intelligent noise-control system and automatic high-pass filtering with DC-offset isolation, it delivers blast free audio with smooth signal rise and fall. Having a FC fiber connector, it is both single-mode and multi-mode compatible, being able to transmit up to 1km over multimode and 20km over single-mode fiber, with custom distances available upon request. Completely plug-and-play with no configuration required and supplied as a matched transmitter and receiver (TX/RX) pair, this XLR audio over fiber solution is perfect for broadcast studios, live events, intercom and audio distribution systems, and any application that demands clean, reliable, bidirectional analog audio over fiber.
