QuestTel's L-DVI-MI-FE-TX/RX is a miniature device that provides long-distance transmission (20km by default) of DVI signal over a single strand of fiber. Designed to be mini, and convenient without sacrificing reliability, and exceptional delivery of high resolution DVI signal. The kit transmits at 4K/2k x 60hZ DVI video without any compression whatsoever. The signal quality at the receiving side is the exact same as the source. The extender comes with the DVI 1.0 single-link standard and utilizes the HDMI 2.0 protocol. The L-DVI-MI-FE-TX/RX is optimal for several different applications that require long distance transmission of high quality DVI signals. Since transmission is secure over fiber, fiber is preferred in use-cases where the content must be secure. It is used in very large facilities such as airports, stadiums, live broadcast signal transmission, remote studio, universal digital video transmission business, telecommunication signal transmission business, airport or transportation hubs as well as connecting over very long distances between facilities such as college campuses.
