12G SDI Over Fiber, 12G SDI Fiber Extender with RS 485 Control for Data
QuestTel's L-1SDI-FE-12G-TX/RX is a SD/HD/3G/6G/12G-SDI over singlemode or multimode fiber transmitter and receiver extender kit. This unit provides optical transmission of one 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI signal with embedded audio signal and has reversed RS485 data channel for camera control. The L-1SDI-FE-12G-TX/RX kit can be used in HD video conference, as well as HD video monitoring, intelligent transportation system and public security system. Furthermore this kit provides loss-free and high-quality video transmission without compression. Fiber optical transmission excludes electromagnetic noise factor, it makes this product a perfect solution for efficient, reliable and secured 12G-SDI signal transport. Integrated LEDs make troubleshooting easy with DC power and optical laser indications on the transmitter and DC power and optical power reporting on the receiver.
Optional features for multiplexing platforms include support for 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI, Gigabit Ethernet (GE), RS-485/422/232 data communication, XLR audio integration, multimode fiber compatibility, bidirectional transmission, DC power input, and SDI loop-out functionality.

- Both transmitter and receiver have clock recovery function; (clock restorer can reduce
high frequency jitter and completely regenerate data with a pure, low-jitter clock). - The clock restorer is locked to 11.88Gbps, 5.94Gbps, 2.97Gbps, 1.485Gbps or 1.001
frequency division sub rate and SMPTE rate of 270Mbps. - Signal input has automatic cable equalization (EQ) function, output has drive (CD)
function. - Support plug and play SFP optical module, which can replace optical module
corresponding to different distances or interfaces according to the actual site
requirements. - Support single-mode single-fiber, transmission distance 20km (default)
- Support status light display.
- Supports USB device power supply.
